✓ This is the best place I have ever stayed in Italy. Firstly the location is incredible, nestled in the Comina Valley flanked by beautiful and imposing mountain ranges. Secondly the accomodation is deluxe. The rooms are clean, quiet and well equipt. Thirdly, the pool facilities are luxurious and refreshing. A pristine infinity pool facing an absolutely gorgeous landscape. Fourthly, the staff. All the staff members were helpful and very pleasant. Nothing was too difficult for them and they always responded with an earnest smile. Fifth, the dinner was delicious and diverse, sourced and inspired by local fare. The wine pairing was on point and a great experience. Lastly, the spa was marvelous. 5 different sections (sauna, steamroom, salt wall water bed, ice shower and spa with view of the valley) all to yourselves. Do youselves a favour and book this place for more than one night (unlike I did). The experience was simply brilliant.

The location and view is amazing but let down by the room space and menus

✓ Service and staff were good at checkin, dinner and breakfast. The views are amazing and the breakfast had a good choice.

✗ We paid for one Suite and a deluxe room and to be honest there was very little difference between the two. The suite was an ok size but with no proper seating area that you would expect with a suite, the deluxe was a little small including the bathroom. We paid for half board as we read the reviews about the food, to be honest we were disappointed. Although it was nicely presented, we were served raw prawns for starter which was not mentioned on the menu at all otherwise we would not have ordered this due to possible food posioning risks and also the same again was served for one of the main courses with pasta, the portions were also rather small. Overall we did not think the food was good value, however the wine was good and a reasonable price for a hotel.

✓ The Property is recently refurbished and entering into business with a clean appearance and fresh Team of Management. They were very welcoming and attentive and our primary goal was fully met which was to expend 14 nights in Italy away from the large populous of Rome to keep our Covid risk minimal whilst we transitioned from UAE to UK.

✗ There were some teething issues with the infrastructure (hot water, internet and Gate Controls) that caused some difficulties and the catering is geared up for very high end (only) dining hence the F&B pricing reflected this approach making staying there over a period quite expensive.
