Sun Moon Lake Karuizawa Villa

Fantastic stay, lovely owners, would stay again without hesitation

✓ I loved everything. The owner greeted me when I arrived early to simply store my luggage as I explored the area. However, she surprised me and allowed me to check into my room at that time, about 8am. I was pleasantly surprised. It didn't stop though, as I explained I was leaving at 745am the next day, so she organised my breakfast to be prepared at 7am and ready to eat on the go if I desired. The room was delightful (especially after the previous accommodation being very average), they have a lift, the bathroom was excellent (great hot shower and good pressure), big room and plenty of towels. The beds were single twins and both very comfy. The room clean, odourless, and well laid out. The whole atmosphere was welcoming and I would not hesitate to stay at this accommodation when I visit the lake again.

✗ The only complaint I have is I didn't book this accommodation for the night before and instead stayed at a rather average guest house, but that's all on me. There was not anything to dislike about this accommodation.

✗ Could not sleep. There is a multicoloured beeping light. Breakfast was aqeful. Coffee was bad. No cleaning of rooms. Rooms were not cleaning.
