Good vibes and centric place

Fabulous
✓ Amazing location, right in the city center and there is also parking nearby at the port (for a fee, 17 euros per day). The hostel is very cool, full of life, there is a successful bar on the first floor and also a more expensive bar on the seventh floor with a terrace. There are activities in some evenings. The bed was comfortable, there is air conditioning and I loved the balconies in the rooms.
✗ We were quite satisfied and there are no real problems. I will say the shared toilets were quite dirty; I would love to see more vegan options at breakfast; The curtain in the shower is not good and the whole shower gets wet when you shower; And there is no ashtray on the balcony. In addition, on our second night a huge group of dozens of students arrived. This amount of people completely disabled the elevator, the lobby was crowded to the limit and there was a serious line at breakfast. I suggest that if such a large group comes, they stay for example on the first floor and have breakfast at a separate time from the other guests.

I’d stay here again
✓ The beds are very comfortable, they always have events going on, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is also good!
✗ They had quiet hours past 11pm but the people in my room didn’t follow it. We told the front desk at 2am because we kept getting woken up and staff did nothing.

A good option for 1 night in Trieste
✓ Excellent location. Wonderful freshly laundered linen for the bed.
✗ I'm a cyclist and found the extra charge of 6Euro for bike storage unwelcome. (My bike folds so I ended up taking it to my room). For hygiene reasons, I would prefer there to be soap to wash your hands after using dorm toilet.

✗ Room wasn't very spacious, and it was very hot and full of mosquitos. Very crowded at breakfast and not enough seats.

✗ There is no lock for the shared toilet and shower of the 4-bed rooms, which means anyone with the room key can enter while there is someone else from the room inside.

Very good
✓ The hostel is well located, close to the train station and city center. It provides a free breakfast (sandwiches, fruits, cereals and so on). In the room we were 3 people out of 6 beds, but it was comfortable. Overall everything was clean and nice. WiFi is working quite well, and the hostel also has co-working and meeting rooms on the 1st floor. The staff is friendly, they answered all my questions and allowed me to put gelato in the freezer. The atmosphere is quite good for extraverts and introverts.
