Very nice property, enjoyable stay worth revisiting.

✓ Location, design layout, live music at the Shores bar, courteous, polite and helpful staff. The poolside restaurants and pools. The oceanfront suite where I stayed during my visit to this hotel. The entire property is well maintained and clean.

✗ Chinese cuisine especially non-vegetarian delicacies needs to be made more tasty and delicious.

✓ Beautiful beachfront, nice pool and range of activities (albeit we couldn’t do much because of the weather)

✗ Hotel management was not great and communication was poor. We came to stay for 2 nights and it was raining for one of the days we were there. They have a rainy day program, but none of it went ahead. We were left puzzled and in the dark by the hotel as to what activities were on, which had been cancelled, if there was a Plan B. A lot of the staff didn’t know what they were doing, some were rude. However we had a select few staff members that were super friendly and helpful. we found 4 cockroaches in our room across the 2 nights we were there. I’m not usually bothered by this, but you would expect better from a 5 star resort. For context, we were in Mauritius for 3 weeks and stayed at much cheaper, less luxurious and some very remote places and we had not seen cockroaches anywhere else. Water was NOT free despite paying for half board - the hotel refills their own bottle of water from the tap and try to greenwash it by saying it’s ‘bottled on-site’. The water bottles aren’t even properly sealed for commercial use. It is very unclear as to what is included in the stay package and what is not. The welcome pamphlet says “all non-motorised sports are free” but when we wanted to use their tennis courts, the staff said that it was “Rs250 per racket, but the balls are complimentary…?”

✓ There are different beach activities offered free with the all inclusive package. Snorkling was amazing with all kind of coral and fishes that worth to be seen. Food is amazing with different kitchens and fresh food and juicy fruits. Staff are friendly and helpful especially the kids club team who take our kids from morning to evening and fill their day with many enjoying activities with the other kids.

✗ Some waiters/waitresses were not so friendly with us due to the pressure they had during christmas season. But this is understandable.

I don’t think so will repeat the experience here again

✓ the place is nice and has good water sports activities.

✗ No privacy when using the toilet, very strange not consider to add doors in WC . and no Water Shattaf option :(. I had 3 Lizard in my room that was really upsetting me, even when spoke to the stafff they first told me it’s okay , it won’t harm you since it’s tropical area. but later on they realize that, I am gonna raise complain against, then they were able to come later to the room and get red of him plus they changed my room as well. internet Wi-Fi is quite slow. even with raising twice the complain, the network was slow during my stay :(
