✓ Safe neighborhood, good value for money, clean sheets, had luck with roommates
✗ The shower floor was full of hair the first day so the water built up and it was generally disgusting, however the second day everything got cleaned and was fine
✓ People in the mixed room were cool and respectful to the others.
✗ The fact that some of them were staying in there like a whole year already.
✓ The booking went easy. The size of the room was nice.
✗ Staff were unfriendly. More attention could be paid to the appearance of the hotel.
✓ great staff, very helpful
✗ a lot of noise outside our window, screaming children and trash bins
✓ The concept
✗ Uncomfortable lobby seating, shady ambience and less sitting arrangement.
✓ Very comfortable
✓ I stayed in 3 different hostels in Berlin for 6 nights in 1 week. 36 rooms, AO Kolumbus and AO Friedrichshain. Friedrichshain was the best in terms of price/performance. Of course, even without a discount, I think it was the most comfortable.
✗ Their usb chargers broke my device.
✓ Breakfast was really good
