Located within 31 km of Torre Guaceto Reserve and 28 km of Archaeological Museum Egnazia in Ostuni, Corso Mazzini White Houses provides accommodation with seating area.

✓ The property is on a street that is not found on Google Maps which is ok but the manager sent me 2 addresses without explaining why, which was extremely confusing. The booking expects you to go to a different address, over an hour away, to ‘register’ (which I had already done on Booking.com) in order to get the code to the key box and to pay them. I was being dropped off in Ostuni my my family with 3 very young grandchildren and this is was a crazy and unhelpful requirement as we had never visited Ostuni before and we’re not family with the town. Eventually, after hours of texting back and forth, and my feeling that I should book other accommodation for the night, it was agreed I could pay online using a Credit Card. Honestly, this is the craziest and most distressing set up and certainly a first time in my YEARS of travelling throughout Italy and the world. NEVER AGAIN.
✗ Very very basic. No wifi which wasn’t a problem, although it is ‘normal’ everywhere I’ve ever stayed before, but I could not get a signal for my 5G inside the property.
✓ The flat itself was really cute, but I had not read the ‘poor’ comments from previous tenants and didn’t realise there is not only no wifi but the walls are so thick it does not get reception, meaning for a working nomad you cannot actually work in the flat - nightmare! The host was lovely though - great communication and very friendly and prompt with checkin advice and happy to allow me to pay early (via online payment) to check in early (so appreciated!!!). Walking distance (3mins) to the historic center of Ostuni!
✗ Wifi (as mentioned above!) and checkout time of 10am, which is very early for the rest of italy.
✓ The bathroom was clean, had an air conditioner, kitchen with the basic appliances
✗ no wifi and internet service inside the accomodation
✓ The host was very friendly and enthusiastic. It feels like home inside the house, cozy and warm
✗ There is no wifi or electromagnetic waves, we couldnt call by normal sim card, neither access the wifi. The room was small and was kinda hard to find since it's located in a small alley. Centro storico of Ostuni was really a maze
✓ One of the apartments assigned to us was very neat and clean and had all the necessary things.
✗ We booked our accommodation for a group of five people. Upon reaching we were informed that we had been assigned two houses which were at a distance of 300 m from each other. This was completely unacceptable because all of us wanted to stay together. To make things worse, the second apartment did not have a Wi-Fi, mobile signals, hot water to take shower. Also, the amount of coffee pods provided was too less for 5 people staying for 2 days.
✓ The apartment is ok, enough space We were allowed to take our bicycles inside Check in was easy with a code, the staff woman came 20 minutes later
✗ Pillow and sheets were used, we used our sleeping bags The constant dripping of the water heater is nerve cracking Intensive smell of cleaning products Fitting in the bathroom needs to be looked after
✓ the vibe of the Ostuni typical houses. but at the same time it was modern. there’s even a washing machine.
✗ wasn’t even hit water for 4 people to take a shower in the morning. not enough duvets for everyone to have their own. not enough toilet paper
