We loved Auguste Viktoria and would certainly come back when we have the chance.

We loved everything about the hotel itself. The location is ideal. Breakfast was magnificent. The staff was absolutely wonderful.

The only problem we had was not with the hotel but with one of the guests who stayed one floor above us (we were in room 3). On the Saturday evening of 19.06, we were sitting out on the balcony, talking. He yelled at us from his room, telling us to be quiet. We lowered our voices as much as possible, to the extent that we were practically whispering. There were people on the street who were in fact much louder, and there were other much bigger noises around, as it was Saturday night. Nevertheless, the guest came down to our room, banged on the door, yelling profanities. When we opened the door, he became almost violent, swearing at us even though there were three children standing there, and kept hitting the door several times with his hand. He finally left, but one of our children became so scared that she cried, and could not sleep that whole night. This had of course nothing to do with the hotel and I know the staff could not have done anything about it. But it was a shame that some guests simply could not control themselves.
