Definitely highly recommended.
✓ Silverwood is a remarkably decent 80 m2 fully furnished 2-Bedroom service apartment conveniently located in the Ibu Khaldoun suburb of Tunis. The accommodation rate includes breakfast and a one-way airport transfer (I was flying off to Jeddah the next morning). This apartment has a café nearby, which also serves breakfast. In judging any accommodation, I weigh in on the following: • Security, • Cleanliness, • Excellent staff, • Air-Conditioning, • Spaciousness, • Availability of elevators for access to upper floors, • Excellent WiFi, • Noise level, • Hot Shower, • Payment by Credit Card. Silverwood tops in 8 criteria. This property is great for its proximity to the: • Cafes & Restaurants: Just within 10 minutes walking distance.
✗ I am somewhat not excited with the following: • From the street level, there is two flight of stairs that you need to get to the apartment, and if you are elderly with a 02 suitcases & 01 backpack, like myself, it is an extremely tough climb. Luckily, there was someone to assist.

Good Tunis base in this wonderful city.
✓ The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, an absolute gentleman who couldn't do enough for you. Allowed us to check out late and store our bags. Apartment was spacious and warm, with decent WIFI and Netflix. I'd recommend it. Great value for money and close to the airport -15 minutes and 20 minutes to the centre. The area itself is authentic and the locals are so friendly. Plenty of cafes and little shops and a lovely pizzeria minutes from the apartment. The area is very safe but maybe avoid late night ventures.
✗ The apartment is located in a distant location about 20 minutes from centre but taxis are cheap and readily available. Apartment could have been cleaner and there was a very strong smell in the bathroom.

✓ A very spacious apartment in a quiet neighbourhood of Tunis. It is not very modern, but it was everything we needed with a rental car on our way out of the city. Recommended!
