Spacious 3 bedroom Cottage in Whalley

Great house, great location, clean and spacious.

✓ The place was clean, comfortable and a great size for us.

✗ There was no shampoo, body wash, toiletries which we would expect from a holiday let.

Comfortable, spacious and a good location. Really comfortable mattress!

✓ Location very good, with shops just round the corner. Plenty of space in the house, well-supplied kitchen, spare bedding available.

✗ Not a complaint - just to say that there were no kitchen scissors which, while we didn't really need them, we wanted to point out in case they had been there but had disappeared before we arrived. Just one comment, probably more for the booking agency - we were a bit shocked by the addition of an £80 cleaning fee for a 2-night stay, which hadn't been made obvious to us when we booked the property. I would suggest that this should be made explicit when booking, and also the rather steep fee we felt was rather an unpleasant shock. Parking a bit of a problem but to be expected in a central town location.

✗ Single beds pushed together as doubles but matrasses different heights, no blind on the loft room skylight, water pressure very poor, cannot use the upstairs shower the pressure is so bad

✗ Fire did not work, insufficient cutlery, glasses and crockery, (had to take turns to eat), corkscrew broken, could not have a glass of wine!!. 3 out of 4 Tv's not working, front room blind would not open, insufficient water pressure to enable water from taps in one bathroom when shower in use in second bathroom. No chair or mirror in bedrooms. Given wrong key code and was standing on doorstep for half an hour. Have heard nothing back from management company despite having messaged and emailed. Disgusting. Do not go there.
