✓ The owner did not seem to expect us, but opened the rooms for us and tried to be helpful

Almost idealistic pace.
✓ It’s situated next to the beach, on a bay that is calm and sunny. It’s ideal for families and pretty good for solo travellers who enjoy a really pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant on the beach is fairly good selling reasonable priced food. A really nice place for swimming and relaxing. I recommend this place.

A comfortable and quiet stay
✓ It was a quiet and safe feeling place in a lovely setting with its own private beach.
✗ The kitchen was very sparsely stocked and the stove took quite a while to bring water to a boil. I am traveling solo, and consider myself quite low maintenance. I had a perfectly satisfactory stay at Makinia Beach, but some might find the kitchen facilities lacking.
