✗ I stayed at the same hotel the week before on the same floor. This time… …there was no air-conditioning in the room …I asked for a firmer pillow but none were available …the shower head didn’t work properly (leaking water) Disappointing. I’m booked to stay there next week; I hope for a better experience.

Would not recommend. Not a 4-star hotel, not good service or good amenities. Location is good though
✓ It's a nice looking building and its location is quite central.
✗ The rooms don't have windows on the outside, as they're all giving on the internal closed courtyard, the beds are very uncomfortable, the staff is unhelpful when asked any advice and very unapologetic when anything goes wrong, which I both experienced while staying in the hotel for 1 night only. I'm sincerely struggling to understand why this hotel has 4 stars. I would not recommend it for personal or professional trips.

✓ Unique architecture - quite stunning. Excellent location - very close to restaurants, bars and shopping.

Great hotel with interesting history.
✓ interesting building, converted monastery with huge glazed courtyard. Nice central location. Really good buffet breakfast. About a 5-10 min walk from the central square, through ancient streets.
✗ Central courtyard where the bar and restaurants were located was very warm. You wanted to finish breakfast early because by 10:30 you would be sweating!

✓ bar and all staff that I encountered. position of hotel being able to walk to city and not too far from train station. and the water outside where people sat in the afternoon.
✗ food expensive. moving rooms as something went wrong like tv etc. no glass in windows when opened - could be highly dangerous.

✓ location was great, good value, breakfast was very good
✗ very hot some mornings whilst having breakfast due to the glass roof- hotel in general very warm. reported that our shower had a fault and was told it would get fixed but still had the same problem the next day
