✓ Staff were so helpful and friendly going out of their way to accommodate me. Accommodated a very late check in with little notice and an early morning check out when I departed. Also kept hold of my large luggage whilst I went on a few days trek. Breakfast was served directly to me and preferred time was asked. Clean, tidy and really comfortable place to stay.
✓ Big comfy beds, nice hot showers, spacious room. Pretty much value for money.
✗ Nothing.
✓ The price
✗ Mmmm...dark light
✓ hot water location
✗ The staff do not speak English at all! On the first morning, the breakfast was not provided until we asked (tried to ask - no one on the reception until 8 am) a few times. On the second morning, they brought us the breakfast to the room at 6:55 am! And did not stop to knocking until we opened, despite we were sleeping... The breakfast was rather poor comparing to other, even cheaper, accommodations in UB. The sheets were dirty (different types of stains) and there was quite noisy at night. I had to pay in cash (we confirmed it is a proper way since they bill Booking.com at the end of the month) but then I have received a notification from Booking that my visit has not been carried out and that they want charge me for cancelled reservation (= because Horeka bills at the end of the month)
✓ The staff were very helpful and generous.
✗ My toothbrush and toothpaste disappeared. I probably forgot them in the bathroom I shared with others.
