Aloft Leawood-Overland Park

Great location! Friendly staff. Smelled bad.

✓ Staff was friendly but there wasn't anyone there to check us out before we left. The patio/bar/game area was wonderful! Love the location as well! Everywhere we wanted to go was within walking distance.

✗ Our room smelled like Ramen Noodles and dog urine. There were no kleenex in the kleenex box. The air conditioner smelled like a dog had peed in it. The odor was pretty bad. Usually a hotel room smells like clorox or other fresh scent. We were very limited on time so we didn't switch rooms.

Great place to stay. Will definitely stay there again when I am in town.

✓ NIce atmosphere in the middle of Park Place. Can walk to restaurants, movie theatre, shopping.

nice hotel with good view

✓ Excellent location, nicely decorated, wonderful sushi place just downstairs and a cute cafe across the street. Pretty sunrise from the top floor. Staff was friendly and helpful

✗ Not very clean. We stepped out of the elevator and there was a used q-tip on the ground. Bed spread had a strain

expecting a upgrade from the normal cheaper hotels we stay in. was actually a downgrade.

✗ musty smell in hallways coming up to room, booked a corner king room on top floor. was no where close to being a corner room. shower had no cold water. room was dusty. tv didn’t work. pool was closed.

✗ parking can be kind of a hassle but the room was very comfortable. They didn’t have room service but had snacks in the lobby you could buy and add to your room tab and get food delivered from DoorDash so it all worked out fine. I really appreciate is the fact that they are pet friendly.
