Located 300 metres from Part-Dieu Train Station, the hotel features an on-site bar & restaurant with panoramic views of Lyon from the 32nd floor of the iconic Part Dieu Tower.

✓ Good Accommodation and facilities
✗ Nothing
✓ Nice hotel, a little bit over priced but clean and friendly
✗ Location
✓ A beautiful building with stunning views
✗ The impossibility of getting to it
✓ friendly staff, unbeatable location
✗ Room could be a bit colder (though I am quite more demanding than others on this topic)
✓ This hotel is on the upper floors of a skyscraper near Lyon Part Dieu station. You go straight to the 32nd floor to find reception in a 10 storey lobby. Very interesting circular layout. My room had a great view of Lyon which was good as it was far too hot to walk around. The hotel is an easy walk from the station through a Westfield shopping centre which means it is nicely air conditioned. The receptionist was charming and spoke excellent English (helped by the fact that, although he was French, his father came originally from Birmingham....).
✗ The restaurant was peculiar with a very limited menu which was maybe due to the fact that I arrived after 9pm. The young waiters were inexperienced but friendly enough. There was simply a choice of pizza (very underwhelming) or salad. I ordered a bottle of viognier (glasses of wine were very pricey) which the young waiter struggled to uncork. When I stated that it was well past its best (not helped by being served at room temperature), he said he would take the bottle back but, as I had tasted the wine in a glass, he would have to charge for that. Somewhat staggered, I moved on to a glass of Cote de Rhone which was fine and ended up with a bill including one sad pizza pizza and two expensive glasses of wine (only one of which I drank). I mentioned the wine tasting story to the receptionist at check out and they agreed that the wine tasting protocol was odd but did not think of deducting the glass - I found this so amusing that I decided to pay up and instead add this to my repertoire of fun stories.
✓ Very nice rooms, very comfortable with really exceptional views.
✗ The exact neighbourhood isn’t so interesting but it’s not so far a walk from beautiful Lyon centre
✓ Incredible views, so cool. Very comfortable, nice room
✗ The neighbourhood is not so interesting, but is close to the train station.
✗ Absolute rudeness from the reception staff when I was checking out. Without looking at me he said just drop your key and we will email you. When I asked where to drop it he said “anywhere”. This is the first time I have experienced such rudeness.
