We enjoyed our stay and would go back. It is easy to get across the river on a boat.
✓ It was quiet. A short walking distance for the ferry to cross to the east bank. Breakfast was fine omelettes superb.

✓ Beautiful architecture and well located on the West Bank of Luxor (around 10 minute walk from where the ferry docks). Breakfast was great - consisting of a typical Egyptian breakfast of beans, tahini, bread, eggs and fresh juice / tea. A great driver was booked through the reception, to tour the Valley of the Kings and various temples.
✗ Slightly earlier breakfast times would be great (from ~7am).

Highly recommended stay in Luxor on a budget
✓ I am glad to have spent 3 nights in Luxor at the Al Hambra hotel. It was basic and clean but very good value for money. Although I had breakfast included I did not use the restaurant as I had early morning start to the tours in Luxor. However the staff organised a pack for me to have after i came back from tour. The room was very clean had a balcony and aircondition since it was hot during the day. All of the staff were amazing polite and provided a very good hospitable service. They are so frienldly and geniuine that you feel you are patt of their family. Very good position on the westbank close to all cafes and eateries but very peaceful at night. Thank you for making my visit in Luxor an amazing one. I will stay here again when visiting Luxor in the future.
