Great place, cosy garden ! Careful with the massage
✓ Very nice and cosy place, with a pretty garden and a swimming pool, a nice coffee shop, it feels calm and peaceful in the middle of the city. Staff is nice, room is very comfy and clean, it is a bit noisy with the work outside and the echo in the hallway, like anywhere in Pokhara. The location is perfect and the street has many cool shops. I had a great time after my trek !
✗ I booked a deep tissue massage in the spa after a long 8-days trek. We were in a double cabin with a friend. It was the WORST massage I ever had : the masseuse was super quick, pressed far too hard with her fingers, was not gentle when moving the body. I asked her to be careful about a back injury and to go slower a couple of times, she didn’t pay attention. I looked at my friend’s massage : it was the complete opposite and she enjoyed it. I had many deep tissue massages in the world, here I felt pain almost all the way through and was about to leave at multiple times. I talked about it with the reception, because this lady shouldn’t be doing this job. It was just a matter of the wrong person, the manager understood and gave me a discount that I didn’t ask for, which is nice. If you go there for a massage, make sure your masseuse is right…
