Great hotel a little way out of town

✓ The staff are so helpful and nice. Really comfortable and quiet room. Breakfast is extra but worth it, huge choice of breads, cold meats, cheeses etc and lovely to be able to sit out on the riverside terrace to have it.I felt very well looked after here.

✗ It is a little out of the way - it's a 15-20 minute walk from the main tourist areas and there's not a lot of choice in places to eat at night nearby. However it is a nice, safe walk into town along the banks of the Salzach.

Good for a quick and basic stay to explore the city

✓ The hotel room had a comfortable bed, the WiFi worked well, and the bathroom had a decent shower. It delivered on what was needed for a short stay.

✗ There was no fridge or water in the room, or kettle to make tea or coffee unfortunately, though the bar staff would provide cups of hot water when asked.
