Fabulous

✓ Right on the beach, big room, AC, TV, great restaurant, good free breakfast.

✗ Early check out. The room needs a fridge since it has a small kitchenette area

wonderful beachfront convenience

✓ you can’t beat the location and the spacious room right on the beach. so convenient to be able to get food and drink directly from the restaurant and eat on your own patio. beautiful views. wifi was also really stable so I could still do work.

they’re closed !

✗ the entire hotel was closed for remodeling and I was not informed until I arrived in town. And then had to get different accommodations.

will come again!

✓ best location; waking up with direct view and access to the beach; possibility to have drinks/breakfast/dinner in your little garden; great drinks/food; very nice and helpful receptionist; attentive staff;

✗ only 9 out of 10 for two reasons: 1) it like that they are dog friendly, but the dogs still don’t have to make their business directly there; 2) the one guard/security guy could stop spitting every now and then;

✗ Very cold water to take shower; staff was very agressive with a local vendor in front of the hotel: he was only doing his work, I think was sad when they expeled him from the sand in front of the hotel

The first place I’ll try to book if I come back to SJDS

✓ I loved this little place - so much so I extended my stay twice. The staff are great, the food was really tasty and location is perfect - waking up to the sound of the waves was amazing! On the same note, the rooms are not soundproof at all so hope you have quiet Neighbors if you are a light sleeper. Sunsets from the room are fantastic.

✗ Hot water would have made the hotel a 10/10!

Pleasant

✓ Right on the beach!

✗ It's ok for 2 or 3 nights, but it's not the relaxing beach holiday you imagine especially when SJ is in full swing I assume you won't sleep a lot with all the bars next door. Breakfast was disappointing: 2/3 of the menu weren't available, because they didn't have the ingredients (there is a supermarket across the street) and what was served wasn't great.
