A home in the Sahara

The staff is incredibly kind and caring. Hassan, Khalid and everybody else really go above and beyond for you and make you feel welcome. We were very well cared for. The location is beautiful, the food is really good with multiple dishes for dinner. Breakfast was great as well! We enjoyed the music and camp fire in the evening. For sunset and sunrise you drive a small distance to get a good view. Though it was cloudy, we still had a great time.

Everything was amazing, the staff met us at the arranged car parking. We went to the campsite by 4x4, Berber whisky on arrival, camel ride at the sunset, night with local dance and music, and morning swim in the pool. Hassan and the team made our stay 10 out of 10. The food was served for dinner and breakfast. All delicious and the portions are generous. We even seen the milky way during the night! Thank you a lot!

We only booked for one night!

The camp offers an exceptional Berber experience in the middle of the desert, with lots of extra possibilities, like camel rides and 4x4 tours. It offers you a way to experience the desert way of life through typical Berber dinners, drum music and dance by the fire. The tent itself lies on a cement base,so there is no fear that any snake or scorpion will sneak in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q

Good morning !! I would like to book with you for tomorrow! We are 3 people , would be possible be in separate tents (2) ?

to arrange for you the tents and beds up to your request , feel free to contact us for any further information:

Q

Hi, I will be working remotely, who is the WiFi signal? Is it always available? Does the tent has a desk ? If goes well, I might stay longer, is there discount ?

Yes we do have WiFi at the camp. The private tents do not have a desk, but there is a community tent for your use.

Q

The rate says it includes breakfast...how much is the dinner? Is it buffet or a-la-carte?

Dinner and breakfast are both included in the reservation.

Q

Where can I park my car? cost of camel trekking from the parking lot to the camp? What are the time slots when the camel trekking starts?

We will guide you to secure complimentary parking when we meet you in Merzouga. The camel trekking is an additional 20 Euros per person. The start time is flexible pending what time you arrive to Merzouga and the time of year.

Q

Hi, a few questions: 1. We've hired private transport but they mentioned they'll be able to send us up till the camel trekking station. How do we get from there to your camp and back - we have 2 big suitcases and walking is not an option. 2. Are camel ridding, sandboarding and 4X4 excursions to the tribes, dunes and flamingo watching included or at an additional charge - how much if so? 3. Is there a campfire dinner and show as well? 4. Is there hot water for the shower - enough for 2 persons?:) Thanks

You must transfer from Merzouga village to the camp via either camel trekking or 4x4. Camel trekking is additional charge and 4x4 transfer is included in your reservation. If transferring via camels, we will transfer all luggage to camp via 4x4 for you. Dinner and breakfast are included in the reservation as well as traditional music and dancing around the bonfire after dinner. There is hot water available as well. Sandboarding is available and complimentary. ATV/quad, dune buggy, and 4x4 tours can be arranged at additional charge. Please inquire for details.

Q

Do you arrange transport fr Fes hotel to your camp then fr your camp to Marrakech hotel

Yes, we are happy to arrange private transport to/from anywhere in Morocco for additional charge. Please inquire regarding pricing.
