One night stay
✓ Overnight during a multi-day bicycle trip. Abano Terme itself is a bit of a declining spa, whose glory years are rather behind it. The hotel delighted us with very large rooms and a spa area open until late in the evening. Breakfast very plentiful with a diverse selection of dishes, definitely above Italian standards. Staff very friendly helpful. Recommended.

✓ It was my second visit to this hotel, and I would have rated it higher if not for the presence of the cockroaches on the balcony and in the room.
✗ When I spoke about the cockroach presence problem to the girl at the reception in the morning, she replied that everybody had them at their home, and actually assumed that I did have them too - not a way to manage such a situation in a 4 star hotel.

✗ but disappointed I was charged for storing my bicycle in the garage store room. Bar staff at the pool were not as friendly as the rest of the staff.

Great value for money
✓ The room size was amazing and the staff were very friendly at the hotel. The pool & facilities are great and the bar staff were also very accommodating.
✗ The room was advertised, incorrectly, on booking.com as having a bath but only had a shower. There were no rooms available to change to unfortunately. The breakfast quality wasn't great, the bacon and eggs were very fatty.
