✗ This is the worst and rudest staff hotel manager I have ever met. First time solo traveling. Booked this hotel last minute since my original hotel could not take me in before the 3.August and i arrived the 1 August. I thought i booked for 2 nights but it seems that i only booked for one night so I did a mistake there. The morning of the 2. August the hotel manager sent me a whatsapp message where he told me the booking was only for one night. So I immediately I explained apologized and updated. He said my card was declined but i saw that money was taken from my bank, and I even talked to my bank and they said that the booking went through but it could take few minute since I used debit not credit card. So this is where it gets wild , the hotel manager, starts sending me angry threatening voicemail on whatsapp saying that he i call the POLICE at me and that I have to leave now. But this is AFTER I have paid for one more night like HE said and i showed him the confirmation and everything. But now he said that he dont like "people like me" Card was ok maybe system was slow, I have transcript from my bank at what time the booking was made. He threaten me AFTER money was taken, he made me feel so unsafe instead of trying to help me as a guest. He stated he had worked long and don't want "people like me" What did he mean? I also feel that was racial profiling and i have raised this concern with booking.com beacuse that behavior is dangerous, and I did not feel welcomed or safe after this. From the start it was a mistake and I said sorry and fixed it right away while instead helping he threatened me (he also DELETED the messages after I contacted booking.com) I called booking and said i did not want to stay here I had already packed my stuff. Because After I called booking he said I could stay and the card was ok now. I never unpacked beacuse he made me feel so unsafe. He also NEVER said sorry, this is just a evil man. ✗ Standing in front of a closed door and having to call booking.com as accommodation had not provided check in details and didn't pick up the phone. No communication at all from the owner. Room small with small windows, bit prisonlike. And why is a room with 1 single bed called a double room? WiFi off all the time (mobile internet doesn't really work in that street). It was expensive, but I got a churn in my stomach that I paid this.

✓ cleaning staff very friendly and do a really good job great location
✗ although it says it’s owned by Myrooms hotel, it’s not a hotel - rather a room with a key - so no staff, breakfast, tea in room etc despite my satnav best attempts you cannot get near the property with a car due to long term road works the kitchen has no cookjng facilities so is not really a kitchen it feels like all the money was spent on a great restoration, and is now run on a shoestring there was a lizard in my room - albeit appeared friendly !
