✓ Had a truly comfortable stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious and well-maintained. Room service and housekeeping was top-notch and they even helped with easy and economic transportation/conveyance facilities. Hi-speed free wifi was also included in the package. The rooms are priced very economically and some of them offer a wonderful view of the city. Would recommend for solo travellers whose priorities are safety and convenience.

✗ No toiletaries were provided. Lot of amenities were listed but were not there, bathroom wasn’t clean.

Would recommend if you are group-travelling and are looking for a budget stay. There are a couple other ‘Mamta’ hotels

✓ The location is excellent with proximity to restaurants and shopping areas. Dal lake is a few minutes drive. Safe location. Mr Abrar, who manages the property here, was of great help right from the planning phase of our trip. He was always accessible and helped us throughout our trip even with small to big requests. As some of the members in our group fell sick due to food poisoning on the day of check out, Mr. Abrar was very accommodating and allowed a very late check out as our flights were also late in the evening. He also helped us book the Gondola tickets at Gulmarg well ahead. It was a very wise suggestion. The tickets were sold out for our dates a few days later. Ideal for budget and very short stays.

✗ The only downside was that the toilets ventilation was into the bedroom on one side and the corridor on the other. As our stay was only for a night, it was not a big inconvenience.
