A very pleasant stay and absolutely according to plan
✓ The room was great. Calling for a cab was easy. Staff were always very helpful.
✗ The coffee bar could have been more accessible / ready, especially in the morning. No one was there to ask for coffee.

The hotel served its purpose whilst not providing much more
✓ A last minute booking the hotel provided what we were looking for regards a one night stay with an early start the following morning
✗ The location was on the north side of Genoa Airport within the industrial area. Not a lot to choose from regards retaurants unless you wanted a lengthy walk through some pretty rough looking streets

✗ There was a reading light near the bed, but could have been more practical. Is a problem in most hotels!

OK, but could have been much better had the AC in the room performed as expected.
✗ The air conditioning was set centrally at 23 C and I could not lower it to my desired 21 C. the AC then cut itself off in the middle of the night and I woke up at 2:00 am sweating in my bed. I opened and closed the window and this procedure somehow reactivated the AC but again I could not control the temperature below 23 C. Its a shame that a hotel of this relatively good quality imposes this discomfort on the guests.

Good option for short stay
✓ Stayed only for one night to be close to the airport. Simple check-in, nice standard, clean room. Free Airport shuttle worked well.
✗ Food in the restaurant wasn’t very good. Used a lot of oil. Area isn’t probably the best - but for one night no problem.
