Hazelbrook House B&B

You get what you pay for, fairly quite but small room in Dublin city.

✓ This B&B is in the heart of Dublin city, close to all the shops, bars and public transport. I appreciated that the noise was fairly minimal when the window was closed, so I could sleep quite well, the bed was also really comfortable. Room and the private bathroom were well cleaned.

✗ The room itself was big enough for one person, but I would not have been able to share it with another person. The shower was an adventure, as hot water turned itself on and off all the time, making the water either too hot or too cold.

✗ Did not like the electric sockets bodged up with sellotape, my phone charger was red hot when I used the socket, it wasn't safe so I charged my phone up when I went out

✓ it’s a great location in north inner city Dublin and the room has a kettle etc and very comfortable.

✗ the staff could be friendlier, more chatty especially since I’ve been a few times before… also you have to ask for a hairdryer and normally pay €10 deposit or beg if you don’t have cash …

✓ Very simple room with nice and comfy beds. Good size bathroom, large shower. Very clean, friendly staff, good location 5mn away from O'connell Street. Excellent value for money.
