✓ Characterful and perfect location. Well stocked

✗ Getting into the driveway with a Freelander

Brilliant location. Very narrow car access. Lots of paint scrapes on wall.

✓ KItchen was well equipped. Unseasonal cold wet weather so we were very grateful thta we could turn on the heating.

✗ Sitting room furniture very dated, would benefit from fresh pictures, coat of paint and smaller pieces of furniture with modern fabrics. Feels like it was Granny's house contents.

Loved our stay in a pretty cottage and a pretty location

✓ We loved the location being on the edge of town and private parking. Great for dogs as lots of really good walks from your doorstep.

✓ Beautifully clean and presented. Everything you could have needed . Superb location.

✗ 6pm check in is too late in the pitch dark for women on their own and to negotiate the extremely narrow lane to garage.

Good stay. Short walk to all places in the village

It was better than we were expecting. Excellent location. Everything you need.

✓ Nice touches, such as basics left - milk, cereal, fruit drink. Clean and well kept. Bigger than expected from the photos.

✗ You could hear the regular church bells but generally not a problem. Narrow stairs to the top floor - wouldn't be suitable for anyone a bit unsteady on their feet. However, it is a very old cottage so these types of features should be expected.
