✓ Bakhodir (aka celebrity Mr. Phoenix) was the kindest, most welcoming host ever. He single-handedly made my trip so special with amazing hospitality. We were served amazing tea and cookies, given so many helpful recommendations through our stay, and we're so so grateful. Absolutely would visit again. Bathroom and beds were very clean, hot water and heating worked perfectly and the eating area is so beautiful, perfect for photos, sitting and chilling. VISIT HERE!!
✓ This place is great! The room and hotel itself are cute and look exactly from the photos on Booking. The room is absolutely clean, the carpets are beautiful, and the bed is comfortable. The water is hot and you can adjust the water heater in the bathroom. The breakfast is fabulous, totally traditional. Must try! And the staff here are just amazing!! I can't emphasize this enough. Everyone is friendly and helpful, especially Feniks (Phinex) who is the manager and the only person who speaks fluent English. He is such a caring, warm, and polite young gentleman. He is so helpful and kind and would take extra steps to make his guests feel safe and comfortable. He even drove me to the airport at 6 am on the day I left because it would be hard to find a taxi at that time. And he introduced me to Uzbek music on our way. He truly makes the whole experience different. I have traveled around many places, and I have to say although he is young, he is one of the best hosts I have ever met. The location of the hotel is perfect. It is right behind the Registan, about 3 mins walk. The hotel might be a little bit hard to find in the first place if you follow Google map, because Google would direct you to the next alley. But once you find the right location, it's not an issue. The area is super safe, you walk during the night by yourself in all the alleys around. The only thing that can be improved is the wifi, which sometimes is connected but not working very well. Overall, this is my first time in Samarkand, and I find myself lucky to stay at Tilyakori. This is such a safe, warm, and friendly place that allows me not to worry about anything but to enjoy my trip completely. I highly recommend this hotel. If you go, please say hi to Feniks.
✗ Nothing.
✓ Near city center, clean rooms and friendly staff
✓ The location is perfect, close to the Registan square. The room was big and clean, the hosts were friendly (one of them speaks fluent English) and the breakfast was very good. You can buy bottled water in the hotel.
✗ The laundry service is a bit pricey. The bed mattresses were a bit too hard but that seems to be normal in Uzbekistan
✓ This small hotel run by a family. Their hospitality healed me after I encountered some troubles in another city of Uzbekistan. Breakfast time is amazing. This hotel stand behind the Registon Square so you can see huge famous madrasas from its side and behind too. I think it's a interesting experience.
