"It was fair but I don’t think I would go back
✓ The property had comfortable beds, and a nice kitchen, and comfortable couch and chairs
The backyard was beautiful
✗ The front door lockbox would not open we had to find the second box and thankfully that worked, the electricity in the bathrooms did not work and we had to wait two days for that to get fixed
Kitchen stove was old, one of the burners didn’t work and they only give you two kitchen towels need more than that for four days stay
The house needs some updates
"Worst /filthy home stay I've ever experienced.
✓ Location to the wedding we attended made it a desirable location. BUT...
✗ First thing noticed opening the door- Cold, faint musty dank smell, & very dark. No heat. Was 50° inside on lovely Fall day. Took hours for the heat to get up to a normal setting..only to turn itself off again later. Freezing. Few blankets on beds Rumpled towels. Poor attention to details. Imagine my surprise to use the downstairs bathroom, and have grassy finger prints on sheets of toilet paper! Gross. Upstairs bathroom had TP holder falling out of the wall. Turned on light to see cob webs from the can-lights to filthy air intake cover.. Horrid , stinky experience. Shame on Booking.com for offering such a place. Overpriced to begin with I at least expected it to be clean & warm. My clothes stank of the mold when I got home and put them into my washing machine. Extra Fees attached for a 2 night stay were more $ than a nights rent. They even charge for water! Over $400/ night, the 2 night booking cost $1,390.00. (Over $500 of extra fees and taxes for 2 nights) We did not stay the 2nd night. Horrible experience.
