One of the 'fancier' but also more expensive hotels in the town. Stunning views and nice pool.
✓ Stunning Lake view and a well appointed room. The shower was hot and with good pressure. The gardens are lovely and the small infinity pool was a nice bonus for us. Would be a nice place for a wedding/honeymoon or special event.
✗ I was chased down and asked for a bag check over a 6 pack of beer. I was unaware of the 'no alcohol' policy as I have never encountered this once in all my global travels. It is a condescending policy and asking for a bag check was quite frankly outrageous, especially considering that this is one of the priciest hotels in the area. Make sure if you are looking to have a nice glass of wine in the comfort of your own room, to keep that to yourself.
