It was really a bad experience.

✓ This was a really bad experience. I visited as Bosnian person with other Bosnian friend and my Austrian friend. I payed all in person and I was a person who organized the whole trip. During all contact I had a contact with a woman that is in charge for apprtements. She many times tried to offer us more than one night, because she believed it was better for us. Then she forced me many times to think abou staying 3 or 4 nights, because she would like it better. Then we arrived and we did not have parking space. Parking is meant in front of the doors close to one three where you need to be professional driver to park in in a good way, especially if you arrived driving tired. We were received my man we never had contact us who charged us and even on the day of arrival we were tried to given much more expensive appartement with claim that it would be better for us and nicer - even though it was basically the same as other only costed more money. Then only for Austrian friend was offered local wine and we two local Bosnian people from Tuzla did not deserve even to taste a glass of water - which I personally did not consider inclusive enough. We never received bill - I am not sure if the house is issuing bills. For many people on business travels it is very important as evedence of cost that needs to be forwarded further. The room is to small it is a simple room with balcony and small bathroom. Next day before going back woman arrived and started a chat with my friend who for being kind said that he might visit this summer with his mother. I also wrote a message my brother might consider going. From the moment I left I got annoyed by many messages daily how there is desperately needed rating 10 and explaining everything as the best. I said I will do it. Then next days the woman stressed me with questions and requests when is my friend arriving again since she booked dates on her own just in case even though he never promised to come again.

✗ At the end when I gave up and wrote rating 10 even though I did not want it, but did it to get free, then my booking got cancelled and it was explained I never stayed there to prevent possible edit of good review. I requested bill many times and I never got it. Also very important we we tricked by initial explanation how it is close to centre. It is actually very far maybe 4 or 5 kilometers and you need a car. Even by car you need maybe 10 minutes to the center and you need to park there. It is not really walkable to the city centre, especially because it is all the time hill up because you need to be best sportist in great condition to be able to make it. Then later on prices varied since my friend who lives in Bosnia was offered the same price 70 KM, but for my brother in the same days was offered 90 KM since I personally live and work in Austria, which was known from the beggining. In total even though it is my own country I would really not recommend Neum, because it is nothing special, being a little bit cheaper than other places is not worth it. Most beaches are hotel private owned - so there is not even free beach to go for swimming. There was no shower gel or shampoo therefore everybody needs to have their own. In total it was not worth staying here. Sometimes much cheaper ends up being the most expensive at the end. Therefore, I recommend people not going by only affordable options. I do not recommend staying here.

One night was enough

✓ The very friendly caretaker, she let us into the apt. and let us come to the supermarket and pay the next day, as we didn't have any cash. The beds were ok.

✗ We found the apt building closed on arrival. After waiting on the street for about half an hour a caretaker was located, with the help of a friendly neighbour. Apparently the owners had gone back to Germany; they may have tried to contact me, but without WiFi I could not see that. The studio apartment had no table and chairs inside, a tiny kitchen and a small bathroom with a very small sink and a somewhat dodgy shower. The room could not be darkened by the flimsy curtains. The location is far from the beach.
