Good place to spend one night

✓ Being able to lie in the sofa while listening some japanese TV shows with the fridge at hand reach, it was relaxing😇

✗ The stairs to get up to the room where not very practical with my big suitcase

you get what you paid for..

✓ 1. there is privacy even if it is a hostel type since it single occupancy room. 3. you have your own fridge and faucet inside your room. 5. living room and kitchen is homey, I love it. 6. there is english guide for usage of the apartment and electronic items. 7. owner has fast response in messages and accommodating.

✗ 1. no bidet. only one toilet for everyone 2. laundry does not have dryer function (which is fine) but it was adviced to dry our clothes in our room.. the thing is there is no drying rack or whatsover in the room, I have to hang my pants weirdly on the window.. 3. room is separated from the main apartment, so if it’s extreme heat or winter, and you need to go bathroom or toilet, it is inconvenient. 4. you can hear room C banging their beds at random times, it is disturbing. 5. sofa bed seems old. you can feel the folded region at the center 6. there is no blanket, only bed top (which is smaller than the futon) and pillow

great guest - house in Odawara to stay with, if you want to explore hot springs in Hakone

✓ Clean, comfortable and affordable place. big enough room with air conditioner and TV set

Disappointing

✓ I like the location, and the self check-in procedure made it very easy for the schedule. The owner was very fast to reply, very much helpful.

✗ The check-in procedure are a bit complicated. The main bed, the convertible sofa is not very much confortable and a bit small.

Bad

✓ bathroom

✗ the bed is a sofa, the room is separated from the dining room, and the toilet too. if you want to go to the toilet you have to enter through the main door. very inconvenient because you have to bring your room key and cold weather

Clean place with big kitchen

✓ The kitchen and lounge are big and clean. The Hakone bus stop is just around the hotel, so with the Hakone pass, it is easy to visit Hakone area. The Odawara castle is close by. It is a contact free check in and out process, the manager sends very detailed information so it was easy and smooth. The manager replies email quickly so any question can be answered in no time. Very helpful.

✗ 15 minutes walking from the train station. There is only one toilet so if other users are slow, you will have to wait in the morning. No place to hang clothes if you want to use the washer, so I used the coin laundry around the corner.

Great room in a great location

✓ Perfect location, easy access, very welcoming and very clean. I would stay here again.
