Good hotel, bad restaurant
✓ The hotel and its location are unique for those seeking tranquility in a beautiful and secluded place that is not captured by the great hustle and bustle of Flores or Tikal. The entire complex with its bungalows and houses is excellently maintained and tastefully decorated. From the balconies one has a view of the lakes. Due to the seclusion, it is not only very quiet at night, but also so dark that the place is ideal for observing the night sky.
✗ However, my positive evaluation of the hotel does not extend to another important area: the restaurant. Due to the great remoteness of the hotel complex and its distance from Flores/Santa Elena, one is dependent on the hotel restaurant for food and drink. However, the price-performance ratio is not right. The food is extremely overpriced and the quality is comparatively low. The choice of food is also very limited. I was very annoyed the extremely long waiting times for service. Between ordering and delivery of the food to the table we had to wait between half an hour and an hour. The waiters were visibly overwhelmed. The food came cold to the table, but the drinks were warm. If the price-performance ratio of the restaurant does not change, this will certainly soon be reflected in the ratings of the entire hotel.

Beautiful and tranquil jungle resort
✓ A truly beautiful escape from the city. We loved the sounds of the birds all day long. Such a wonderfully designed boutique hotel with ample green space. The staff were all very nice and professional during our 4 day stay.

Peaceful paradise after a busy day of sight seeing.
✓ Super helpful staff on the check in desk. Lovely wait staff in the restaurant and a good range of foods on the menu at reasoable prices. Lovely margaritas! The rooms were spacious and clean with everything we needed.

✓ comfortable stay close to the nature. I like everything about this hotel. Perfect choice for those with a rental car.

✓ It’s beautiful!!! The staff is also super friendly. We also saw a crocodile in the lake and fed it bread.

✓ Rooms were great. Outdoor shower overlooking the lagoon was fantastic! Food was pretty good. Definitely better than average for the area.
