✓ Very kind and helpful owner. He gave me a ride to the nearby mountain (Motobu Fujisan), and I'm still very grateful for thar. I added a picture of the mountain as "outside" Great assortment of snacks, food, and drinks, which is great if you forgot to bring some. Cozy room with a good fan. Walkable distance to the nearby Aquapark/Aquarium.
✗ An AC would have kept me a bit less sweaty.
✓ It was amazing! The owner was very kind and lovely. The whole place had such lovely energy, wish I had stayed there longer
✓ The host, Niku-san, is really great. He is extremely friendly, and it is really fun to spend time with him!
✓ The host, Niku-san is really great. He is super friendly and kind, which made my stay really incredible!
✗ I wish there was a drying machine. My clothes were very damp and it was difficult to get them dry.
✓ The Guest House is owned by a realy nice guy. It is located close to the Oceanic Expo, a beautiful public place with museums, aquariums, restaurants and a wonderful beach.
✗ The house is a bit away from the main street. Which means you have to walk a bit. However, the express bus going directly to the airport of Naha has a stop just ten minutes away from the guesthouse.
✓ Fair for its price!
✗ It’s located in the countryside through some trees. There’re signposts where to go to find this place and you can be also led by Google Maps but the route can be dangerous during the night so please go to stay at this place before dark.
✓ The host was super friendly and helpful. We had a great evening together and he even taught me some Okinawan words and how to play the sanshin. I loved being in an area where I could listen to the frogs at night! The bed was very firm and I slept well.
✗ Only one toilet and shower so you have to take turns. It was fine at this time of year but I imagine it would be a bit of a wait when they're busier in summer.
✓ The owner is a very charming and friendly person. He plays some music and speaks very good English. The shower was warm, clean and tidy. The shared living space was wide and comfortable on the tatami floor. A lot of information and photos show that this place is well liked. In the evening there are strong lights outside making it easy to notice. Yamakawa port has a small beach behind the sea wall. Bring swim shoes and goggles to see the tropical blue fish a few metres out.
✗ The walk up from the main street is dark, but in the moonlight it was fine. With a wee google map it was easy to find and using a smartphone light when you need it.
