✓ Very friendly and helpful staff. Told me about the area, helped me arrange a paddle boarding lesson, gifted me moon cakes for the Moon Festival :)

I really enjoyed my stay at Harmony Ocean Hotel

✓ The stay at this hotel was one of the best I have experienced in Taiwan. The hotel staff was very nice and very helpful. The owner of the hotel helped me with everything I needed and gave advice when I didn't understand or didn't know something. The hotel room was very clean, big and cozy. Room cleaning was regular and thorough. The hotel is conveniently located and has excellent bus connections to Kaohsiung / Zuoying. There are several beaches around the hotel (Dawan Beach / 大灣路时沙灘, Xiaowan Beach / 小灣海水浴場, ...). The hotel also rents towels for the beach. Kenting Street Night Market / 墾丁大街夜市 is a short distance from the hotel. Within walking distance is Kenting National Park / 墾丁國家公園. I had a room with a balcony and a sea view. Especially in the evening there was a quiet and comfortable sitting on the balcony. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I also recommend the hotel to foreign travelers, you can communicate in English here without any problems.

✗ It's not a complaint, but rather a note. The hotel does not provide breakfast directly at the hotel, but provides vouchers for breakfast at a nearby restaurant. The restaurant does not cook badly, but the choice of food here is quite limited. There are also other restaurants and shops around the hotel. So this problem was easily solved.

I loved the staff and felt like I was coming home at then end of a fun day. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

✓ Arriving at Harmony Ocean was a wonderful reprieve from the hot day of travel. The owners were the most gracious people who treated us like family. They both spoke English when communicating with us and provided great recommendations for a beach area and for dining. The night marker is just 2 mins away! Breakfast is included just 2 doors down and a self-serve laundromat is right next door. AC is excellent. Extremely hospitable and offered unlimited waters, coffee in the morning and any toiletries we needed. The room and bathroom were very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

✗ The only improvement I can see is the Japanese style room beds were not very comfortable. You can feel the springs beneath you.

✓ The hotel is well located with a beach nearby where I had all of my take away breakfasts. The staff was very helpful in helping me figure out where to go and how to explore the area of Kenting. Overall it was a lovely stay.

Fantastic place to visit and fantastic hotel to stay at!

✓ My stay at this hotel was fantastic! I stayed for 8 days, 7 nights during the first week in April. During the first 3 days, I was able to enjoy the spring music festival in Kenting. The hotel was located right next to the festival so it was very easy to get to it! Moreover, I was able to use my own room bathroom rather than the public bathrooms outside. The festival ended at 10:30 every night, so it was very quiet after that. The hotel is very close to the beach and the Kenting night market. The owners of the hotel showed me shortcuts to both areas. It is far enough away from the night market that it is peaceful at night, but easy to access when you need a snack! I also did several activities that the hotel helped me with during my stay. The helped call taxis for transportation and negotiated the prices down for us. They helped us book a snorkeling lesson, rent bikes, and track the bus app to visit the Kenting National Park. Since the buses run infrequently in Pingtung, they also provided their phone number/Line contact so I could call them if I needed help booking a taxi to get home. The room was very clean and I was provided housekeeping services every day. The breakfast provided was delicious and there are several options on the menu. My favorite was the scallion pancake and hashbrowns. The owners also provided extra shampoo and body wash (in addition to the free amenities and beach towels) since I stayed there for an entire week. Every time I left/returned to the hotel, I was greeted with a smile. I really enjoyed my time in Kenting and will travel here again. I would definitely stay at this hotel again too!
