Just too many people. The common areas had people talking loudly until well after 12am and some of the dorms are situated right next to these common areas.

decent kitchen. good lounge area. the 16 dorm bed had plenty of walls, which is nice b/c is doesn’t “feel” like an open 16 person dorm. compartmentalizes the beds a bit, which is nice.

a bit out of the way and the toilets/showers are the cleanest feeling. would get crowded if it’s peak season.

Location was very close to public transport, very easy to get around. Everything was clean. Staff was nice and available 24/7. One card to open front door, room door, and locker so it was quite convenient. During the two days that I stayed here, the room (18-bed mixed room) was only at about 1/3 capacity, and I felt like other rooms were not full either. I didn't have to wait for shower or washroom (I actually had the whole shower area for myself twice), but I can't imagine staying when it's at capacity.

Shower curtain was there just to check off the list, not to cover you. The reception area was also a common area where people could have a drink, play games, and talk. This was not at all a problem during the day, but when they were loud at night (pass 11pm), I could hear it all the way in my room which is on the same floor (this is something staff should take notice off!).

Good place for the price. Lots of options for dorms so we were happy with ours. Clean facilities, lots of showers, lots of common areas. Nice common area on floor 1 with bar. Clean rooms.

The hostel was on floors 1 and 3, and the kitchen and normal showers were on floor 3, so was a bit of a trek if you were staying on floor 1. Can't really complain though - there were lifts and I chose to take the stairs.

Very accommodating staff and people. I had made a made a software + attentian related mistake in my booking and the venue accommodated me with a solution and was very flesible. Very pleasant experience in terms of helpfulness and service. It's also pretty comfortably located in terms of publlic transortation, and a relatively quiet setup, despite the massive size of the place and rooms, and the diverse locomotion in in it.

The toliets were prettu out of order this time, and the shower, in the same room, was hence not encouraging. But the private nooks in the room on the higher floor were a great surprise and bonus on the other hand. :)

Easy links to central Helsinki. Quite a big walk but it’s mostly downhill and good Links with public transport. Close to loads of food places. Staff really friendly, they did a games night which was super fun. It was ran by Mea who was really nice and also helped us when our bed sheet got wet from putting a wet bag on it

Hello, we have plenty of sauna nearby our hostel. There is one gay sauna in the same building, and some close sauna places are Sauna Hermanni (8-min walk), urbansauna Kallio (9-min walk), and Sompasauna (30-min walk, but it is always free).

Is it possible leaving the luggage for some hours after the checkout?
