The staff is accommodating, and a reasonable price.
✓ The staff is accommodating, the room is clean and the hotel has a nice bath on the first floor. You can get a free bicycle if you don't have a car and dislike walking.
✗ I went there at 08:30 but the fish and fried chicken were so cold and I could not have them for breakfast. It is a little far from the station and there is nothing around the hotel.

I come back again to this hotel depending on where in Tsukuba I have business.
✓ Staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were small certainly but comfortable. Wash cloth (western style) for foreigners would be nice to have provided. The hotel provides a few bikes complimentary. That was great to have to move around as the hotel is 40' walk from the center or 25' from the conference center. Japanese breakfast, one has to adapt to it, but when accustomed - one can really enjoy it.

Very good
✓ The best part of my stay was the public bath at the hote. I used it every day. The hotel is not in the centre of Tsukuba, but there are buses and it is close enough to walk.

I think its a good hotel for business trip
✓ The hotel was like I expected it. I booked really last minute and everything went well. The staff was really friendly. The hotel is old but the room is clean. The breakfast was enough. It is a walk from the station but actually doable. To the hotel I took a taxi from Tsukuba station, but in the morning I opted to walk and it took about 20 minutes.
✗ There were a few big spiders outside of the window, which might be disturbing to some guest. It is not in the room, but you can see them when the street lights shine into to windows. Other than that there is nothing to complain.

✓ Enjoyed the breakfast and it has an indoor onsen. You’ll need a taxi as it’s quite a long walk from town center.
✗ the hotel isn’t white, it’s yellowing, which kinda sums up the hotel. lol.
