Located on Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor, Washington, this Dutch-themed motel offers a light continental breakfast. A gym is located on site. Each charming room is equipped with free Wi-Fi.

✓ Cute building and decorations, easy check in, breakfast was good.
✗ The heaters were not adjustable. It was either stuffy and hot or off and then the room was cold. The faucet dripped in our room and kept me awake.
✓ The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was charmingly unique: I had shutters instead of curtains and a half canopy over my bed, and the hotel is outlined in cafe lights at night. This is both fun to look at and also makes the place easy to see from a distance. It is conveniently located right along the highway as you're entering Oak Harbor from the North. The breakfast items were convenient and just what I needed to get my day started. The wifi worked great for the work I brought back to my room. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area of Oak Harbor in the future.
✗ My toilet flushed weakly and I had to hold down the handle through the entire flush to get it to work correctly. On the other hand, my sink was overly powerful and I splashed myself when I first turned it on. Lastly, one of my towels had a small section that was pulled and threadbare.
✓ The included breakfast ought to be improved. Proper hot water for tea would be appreciated, as would a more sensible (ie less sugary) selection of cereals. On the other hand the on-site restaurant exceeded my expectations. It was an unexpected bonus.
✗ Breakfast
✗ Beds were not the best. soft
✓ Friendly and helpful staff, check-in was quick and efficient, plenty of parking space, close to several restaurants, a good location.
✗ We have used this Hotel several times now, there is nothing to dislike here.
✓ Older facility showing signs of age. Clean and reasonably comfortable. Welcoming, helpful, cordial staff Was quiet and had a very nice water feature. Good location close to town and main road and still quiet little or no road noise. Very good internet and basic tv service.
✗ Small room small bed small bath. Furniture and carpet dated and stained But overall kept very clean
✓ Quirky character, clean, friendly staff, decent selection for continental breakfast: bagels English muffins, cereal, boiled eggs, packaged snacks, yogurt, bananas etc. Comfortable bed. Nice grounds. Good water pressure in the shower. Overall, we agreed it was acceptable for what we paid and would probably return. Don't expect a fancy updated hotel. While it was showing signs of wear and tear, the beds were clean, as were the rooms and general use areas. Rooms have small fridge and keurig machine as well as a small table and chairs. Rooms and lobby areas have some beautiful antique furniture. It is a very unique theme hotel. You don't see hotels like this anymore, we enjoyed that about this place.
✗ Could use some updating. Replace the carpets and wallpaper. Weird light switches right beside the bed that light up all night, bring sleep masks to cover your eyes if you need a dark room to sleep in.There was no screen for our window. Rooms facing the road could be noisy. We paid a bit more for the "spa" bathroom, which included a jacuzzi tub, but our room was a lot smaller than the "regular" room in the other building our friends stayed in. Unfortunately, I did not take pics of the room
✓ room was clean and comfortable.
