Disappointing

✗ Pictures are misleading. The hotel it’s on the back of a restaurant. Views to the messy backyard and noise of kitchen until late hours.

✓ stunning breakfast location. clean room, effective air con, really nice staff.

A bit basic, but things just work and at a reasonable price.

✓ Spacious rooms, with good Internet connecting. Everything is just straight forward. There is not A/C fee or deposit for remote or stuff like that. The mini Hotel is ran from the restaurant by the sea, which looks super charming.

Unable to check in after 23:00

✓ Arrived at the location at about 23:00 in the night, so one of the employees told she's unable to check me in as she was leaving; so I ended up spending the night at the beach after paying the room in full. I also spent 40 euros on taxi, as there weren't buses to portocolom at night; it's a remote location, logistically.

Very simple room. Bad noise isolation. Had a sleepless night. Check-in across the street.

✗ The room is unfortunately extremely badly soundproofed, even with the window closed. On the one hand you can hear the noises from other rooms and on the other hand there is a restaurant directly opposite the hostel with a very loud ventilation system, which runs all day and into the night and is very annoying. During my stay there was also a party next door, which also brought me a restless night. Won't come back again here.
