✓ Terans and Philippe were really helpful and welcoming. The view from the balcony is beautiful and the location is right near the beach.

A comfortable stay with great hosts and great chill beach views

✓ Had a great stay at the Blackstar, thanks to Phillipe and Terrance, really good guys who ensure you have a great and comfortable stay. The location is great, beautiful view of the beach, i recommend you get up to see the sunrise, was phenomenal They also have 9 cats and a dog, so my stay couldn’t have been better, they also join you to watch the sunrise :)

Beach vibes

✓ This is a chill stay. It's right next to the beach, overlooking it actually. But it's more the fisherman's beach than the one with cafes and swimming areas. You can swim, but watch out for the fisherman's nets. What's nice is they have bikes for you to borrow for free. That way you can zip back and forth between the restaurant area and your zen oasis. Once you figure that out, this is a great location because it's sooo relaxed. You'll want to hang out on the balcony all afternoon with the cats and Coco the pup. Rooms are basic - note the no AC ( it was fine at night with a fan). I did have a couple of visitors (bugs) that got escorted out. Just know it's a simpler beach vibe and you'll enjoy it.

Lovely little place, right on the beach

✓ Philippe and Terans are great hosts. The view is great, rooms are comfortable and clean. Lovely balcony area to sit and watch the sunrise. Booked 7 days, stayed for 9.

✗ WiFi is a bit weak so you may need to tether your phone if working online.

✓ Very nice and helpful owner. Place on the first coastline. Bicycle for rent. Wash machine available.

Nice atmo @ very fair rate!

✓ Very nice place with cool atmo and view of the sea. The two owners were extremely friendly. They provided light and food ( great cooking, Philippe!) during a regional power cut in the evening - supernice. Good room and great value for the money, located closer to town but in walking distance to the ultra-touristy Uppuveli. I would stay here again!
