A great home away from home as far a work goes

Overall, the hotel is satisfactory for accommodation purposes and its location affords a quiet and seclusive surroundings. However with the unavailability of all meals, it can be difficult to get anything to eat after 9pm.

As stated previously, the lack of a fully functioning restaurant makes it difficult to obtain food after 9pm

Nice sea view, AC works well, good sized room, easy to find, on site parking.

Extremely expensive for what you get, dilapidated furniture, wobbly toilet, useless Wifi, $4USD for a cup of stale filter coffee, on site crickets are as loud as a high pitched fire alarm, though this is not the fault of the property, but it does make sleeping very difficult.

Served its purpose. Fairly comfortable beds, OK wifi, hot water, spacious, long check in hours, on location breakfast restaurant available. The staff was very friendly.

Water leaked fairly bad into room during a rain storm, just after the door, opposite the bathroom, creating a slippery puddle. The handles in shower fell off the faucet if not turned carefully. Fairly dirty room. Breakfast was ok and served its purpose, but not something one would want every morning. Bit out of town isolated from businesses with not great sidewalks for those that want to walk.

this hotel needs big-time renovation. everything is from 20 years ago. they don't even have a functioning restaurant to get not even a cup of coffee. when you check in at the hotel, not even a bottle of water is awaiting you in the fridge. the furniture is old. the shower is the same height as you so you can't go under the shower but rather away from it to get a good shower. the kitchen faucet is from 20 years ago it has never been changed. the face basin faucet looks to be older than the kitchen faucet. this place just needs a general makeover altogether. I would not advise anyone to take their hard-earned money to go for any kind of vacation at bird rock until they do something about that place.

Hotel is 10 minutes out of the City centre in a very nice residential área. The room is big and the bed is excellent

Just a remark on the point that there is no refrigeretor in the room

The place is not what it looks like on the provided photos. The entire beach area is under construction, access and bar closed. The restaurant can hardly be called as such, there are no meals served past breakfast, the latter is mediocre at best and overpriced. On top is the fact that the location is really bad with no services close by and any trip anywhere is at least $10 by taxi, if you can get one.

Room was spacious and comfortable. View over the ocean was spectacular. Could also see the Dolphin Discovery and dolphins doing tricks. Room had many facilities such as fridge, microwave, cooking facilities, crockery, ironing board. Reception was extremely friendly and helped me with some of my travel issues which I was grateful for. Staff were kind in general. The breakfast was quite good though a bit pricey.

My room looked to have been recently renovated which was good but some more attention should be paid to sliding door and balcony which weren't up to the standard of the rest of the room. Dining room coffee wasn't the best.
