✓ The room was very clean & the property is surrounded in the countryside.

✗ The breakfast could hv been a bit better. We used to visit before & they used to hv more selection of food to choose from. Other than that all was good.

✓ Location was perfect for mindful and calm holidays- only olive trees and vineyards around. Swimming pool was superb. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I have also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant- everything was super deliceous.

✓ great food & wine menu. i expected higher prices but I was pleasantly surprised. great breakfast, chef and personal. our room was spacious, cleaned every day. it’s for sure a good value for money with verry nice suroundings. :)

✗ maybe just to have the breakfast a little bit longer (for now it’s untill 10). also the checkout it’s between 9.30-10.30.

✓ The place is amazing. Lovely views with a winery adjoining the hotel. The staff are so friendly and Vito takes his time to explain every little detail. The food in the restaurant is excellent 👌.

✗ The hotel is on a hill this is why you have such beautiful views of the valley below.

very disappointing

✓ the food was good for dinner and there was ample parking

✗ we had rats or mice in our ceiling - was heard in three out of four of our bedrooms. we complained and the staff laughed at us and gave no reassurance that the rats would not enter the room. the staff were very cold, dismissive and rude. even though the mice did not enter our rooms they woke us ip daily at 6am on the dot with the scratching and squeaking. there was a party till 1am on one of the nights without any forewarning and the walls were paper thin which made it impossible to sleep (to the point we could hear the conversations of the people next door). on the public holiday there were no staff to be found and we were given absolutely no warning of this. we arrived to an empty and locked reception and had to park in another area just to be able to access our bedrooms. there is also a fee to change the towels which we were unaware of when booking and was presented with a bill of towel service at 11pm at dinner instead of check out. over all we were all extremely disappointed (we were a group of 8 people) and we do not recommend this location as a stay on holiday.

Exceptionally beautiful - this is a magnificent place to stay.

✓ The location in which Locanda Gulfi is set is so exquisitely beautiful and just a few minutes drive from the breathtaking historic town of Chiaramonte Gulfi. The hotel staff were very attentive and friendly. A delicious breakfast was served each morning, in a dining room with stunning views over the hills and valleys here. Our room was immaculately clean, as was the rest of the hotel. This place is a jewel in Sicily with it's unsurpassed beauty, history and peace. We would love to stay here again.
