Hotel is ok but doesn't justify the price charged
✓ Convenient location, nice view from room
✗ Pre-communication was lacking; they never responded to my request for info about their shuttle from station; luckily I saw their bus when I got off the train and the driver let me jump in. They are charging Western prices but the hotel is quite dated and service and facilities do not justify the US$75 to $100 per night price range, more like $50. I changed rooms early on (after about 20 minutes) as there was a child screaming up and down the uncarpeted corridors, and he turned out to be staying in the room next to me - no soundproofing, I could hear him screaming and every word from his parents. The staff grudgingly let me change rooms but made me pay an upgrade fee; there were always 4 or 5 staff at the reception desk with very little to do, so they all just stared at me when I made the request, I felt really uncomfortable.
