✓ Friendly receptionist. Clean but basic room. Free luggage storage. Location is close to tourist sites and airport shuttle.
✗ Not the hotel's fault but I arrived at night and roaming wasn't working. Even though I remembered the photos and saw the building from across the train tracks, actually reaching the place involved going down some dark alleys and was tricky to locate. Might be something to consider if you are a single woman traveller.

✓ The place is very close to the old town. It is a good place for one-night stay.
✗ The windows were high on the wall and it was very difficult to open them. It was a little bit noisy from some disco nearby. The door to the bathroom did not close and we felt the smell from the sewage.

✓ Close to the centre of Split (3 min walk) close to the bus and train station (1 min walk). Nice modern facilities, friendly host/owner.
