✓ it’s near to main shopping area , just walking distance, resort with a lot of greenery. Good food at the restaurant.

✗ a bit confused in booking as they didn’t state non AC room , but we managed since it’s not so hot at night. a bit on slope have to walk up

✓ Breakfast though spread was not too large, the dishes served was very tasty and excellent. good cobination of dishes which anybody would love. The quality of food was excleent and the service at restuarant very good. The front office the room service all was very good.

✗ wash room next to the restuarant needs to be maitained better. after a good breakfast the gaseous odour in the washroom was a spoiler. I did convey this to the RIC

✗ Food was not upto the mark. We ordered without spices and no chilli food but we got with lot of chilli and lot of spices.

Good for one night stay if you have plans to visit Periyar Preserve

✓ The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Thekkady Periyar National Park which is a real plus. A nice breakfast is served and staff are attentive regarding items being replenished and/or any special needs.

✗ Reception staff seem a bit preoccupied - I had asked if it was possible to book a taxi to my next destination and was told it was no problem only to have to check in 2 hours later on status of booking to get a bogus excuse about why it had not been done. Had to sit with him to make sure it happened - afterwards I asked if I could get ice from restaurant and while I offered to go get it, he insisted he'd take care of it. After it had not arrived 30 minutes later I called restaurant to see when it might be delivered and they told me order had never been placed! Came 5 minutes after that! Pool is centrally located in courtyard and very noisy. Very basic bathroom and marginally comfortable beds.

✓ We had amazing time in the hotel. The staff was really friendly, helpful and kind. They share with us some information about the surrounding area and trips we could take. Especially the hotel manager was fantastic and looked after us. He took an extra mile to make our stay the best. I can really tell that this was the best service we had in India. We enjoyed the facilities like swimming pool too as well as delicious breakfast and afternoon tea and coffee. The location or the hotel was perfect - in the centre of the town, surrounded by lovely garden, quiet and felt like being in a forest. Room was nice too with spacious bathroom and shower.
