This scenic resort in Puerto Rico is near El Yunque Rain Forest. It is located on a 300-foot cliff overlooking the ocean. Guest rooms at El Conquistador Resort - Puerto Rico include white linens and bright spaces with clean white walls.

✓ I liked the views, room’s size & walk-in closet, staff (The bellboys were welcoming and helped at the end), pools/ hot-tub and Palomino Island.
✗ -No microwave, tub looked old and entertainment & music Friday/ Sat night were poor. -We ate at the seafood restaurant; 3/6 people ordered the “asopa’o”. It was extremely salty.
✓ Very good,we like
✓ Latín restaurante
✗ Breakfast
✓ The facility is being rehabilitated and renovated due to hurrivane Maria devastation under new ownership. It is enjoyable and clean. There is some light night entertainment. In my opinion, the hotel will be back to old splendor (I have been visiting since mid 90s) in about two years. Food prices are fair for a hotel. Drinks, as usual, overpriced.
✗ They are getting there, needs attention to small details.
✓ Food was good. Love the Waterpark and bellmen were ALL very friendly. Views are amazing! Resort is huge all and all! Great customer service!
✗ I wish the location of the resort was more close to the city. You need a car to get to the resort from the airport or to anything fun outside of the resort like bars or clubs. Or any excursions like ATVs or go karts etc.
✓ The location was good. The resort was beautiful. It was lively family orient. Lots to do. The facility was clean. My overall stay was great.
✗ The rooms need a little upgrading. The self parking should be included with your stay. We paid for a night that we didn’t arrive. Our arrival date was after 12 midnight which technically was the next day but was charge for the previous day.
✓ Loved the pools, beach, and room.
✗ The distance from the lobby to any area specially our rooms was brutal. The elevator was on one side of the building and getting to our rooms was a 15 minute walk with a wheelchair. Lots of new employees that do not know about the menus nor facilities. Our waiter at Brisas was more concerned about new tables coming in rather than attending our table. We gave the waitress our credit card and she decided to take a tour of the restaurant and clean 5 tables, bring new silverware, and take 3 new table orders. All while holding our credit card hostage and not bringing us the final check to sign. Sitting at that table for 30 mins after everyone finished eating and we wanted to enjoy the rest of the hotel. But in all honesty we were so enamored by the hotel that we let these things go. It is so beautiful!
✓ Everything.
✗ They could have provided atleast a micro oven in the rooms .
