Perfecto accomodation for a visit to Barcelona. We’ll be back.
✓ Great location and very friendly, helpful staff. Having cold clean water to fill up water bottles was also a bonus.

Very happy with our choice to stay at the Hostal Portugal
✓ Great location and wonderful accommodating staff
✗ I slept great, but it may not be for the light sleeper. Walls are thin and you can hear everyone. The guests were good that night, however, and I did not hear any street noise.

✓ Perfect for one night. No private bathroom, but it was alwys free when it was needed. Nice staff. We could leave luggage free of charge. Close to the port and beach.
✗ No private bathroom, probabaly it was written somewhere but I wasn’t paying enough attention.

Well located and convenient for a short stay!
✓ You get what you pay for. Location is very good, the room is small but clean. The staff very kind and there is a 24h reception.
✗ For that price, I have no major complaint. The room is a bit noisy (but they provide ear plugs) and not the most confortable bed... But for 1 or 2 nights, if you are on a budget, it is perfect.

Excellent Hostel and the Location is Fabulous.
✓ Staff was friendly and informative. The room (single bed, no on-suite with sink) was ample for what I required it for, clean and bed made and room cleaned daily. This for me was all about location which was superb, one minutes walk from the main La Rambla strip.
✗ Very little to dislike, if I was being picky - the bed was rather solid for me, the next person might have been very comfortable. Not a reflection on the premises, more personal taste.
