Tranquil oasis

✓ the calming vibe. having a dj pool and a silent pool. spa & shoppe on location. lots of olive trees on the property. plenty of healthy eating options at breakfast (I mean, who has both non-fat greek yogurt and full fat to choose from?). outdoor movie screen at night. exercise space. adults only resort.

✗ i can't think of anything. one thing I would add to the main restaurant is a bar-height eating table for 8 or 10 that anyone/mixed parties would be welcome to dine at (so that solo travelers and others have an option to dine together without knowing each other ahead of time) -humble thought from a solo traveler.

✓ Very beautiful resort. I love the design and all the details of the hotel very much. The staff was very friendly, especially at the reception and room service. I didn't feel akward being there alone because there are a few single travellers. I loved the movie nights and the popcorn!! I didn't like my first room and they changed it asap when I complained about it. Very professional.

✗ I didn't like the wait to be seated system at the hotel and my first room. The rest was fabulous. 😊

Magical place of beauty and relaxation

✓ I recently had an extraordinary stay at Numo Ierapetra resort, and I am still buzzing with excitement from the incredible experience. Let me start by commending the staff for their genuine warmth and friendliness. Mohamed, in particular, stood out for his kindness and his unwavering commitment to making us feel welcome and looked after. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfection. The interior design of Numo Ierapetra is a gem. Every corner of the resort is thoughtfully crafted, creating an ambiance of simple elegance with a modern twist that transmits a sense of peace and tranquility. One cannot talk about this resort without mentioning the swimming pool and beach area. The main pool area offers the best of both worlds – a breathtaking view of the beach and a luxurious pool experience. It is a dreamy oasis where one can savor the beauty of the sea while immersing themselves in the serenity of the pool. What elevated the pool experience even further was the presence of an incredible DJ who played melodic beats that resonated in perfect harmony with the surroundings, enhancing the overall experience. Numo Ierapetra also offers an array of activities that cater to every guest's interests. Few highlights were the complimentary 15-minute massage at the spa and the scuba diving trial in the pool. The resort truly understands the importance of providing a wide range of activities to cater to every guest's desires. I would be remiss not to give a special shout-out to Denis, who showed us around the resort with great enthusiasm and professionalism. His exceptional customer skills and his infectious smile made me feel a valued guest. He went out of his way to provide valuable insights into the resort's offerings. In conclusion, my stay at Numo Ierapetra was an unforgettable experience. I hope to return to this magical place of beauty and relaxation very soon.

This was an idyllic getaway

✓ The food was wonderful, the scenery, the friendliness and warmth of the staff.

✗ My friend and I shared a room with a king sized bed and a pull out couch. We each took two nights on the pull out couch which was very uncomfortable. But this isn't really a criticism as we chose this option, it was honestly the ONLY part of our stay that wasn't perfection.

Fabulous

✓ Free yoga and pilates classes with a wonderful teacher, beautiful beach with comfy sun beds, good offer of drinks and snacks, tasty breakfast.

✗ Very badly trained staff, especially one guy wearing glasses at the bar - each order he made a mistake, forgot to bring something and it was taking him ages to get anything done. Avoid him not to get irritated.

Overpriced „Instagram“ hotel with bad service and food

✓ The interior of the hotel is really stylish. It is a classical Instagram picture hotspot. Overall, the hotel area was clean, but room cleaning was the complete opposite. The SPA experience was also good. The SPA staff was really friendly.

✗ Overall, the service in this hotel was not at all worth the price and does not match a 4 star hotel standard. We booked half board and the food was not a pleasant experience. During check-in, the reception will ask you to document any food allergies. You will sign a paper which states your allergies. Unfortunately, the restaurant staff did not even once serve dishes which were compliant with our food allergies. Thus, we were wondering why we had to sign this paper if it is not even recognized by the kitchen. Furthermore, the service at the pool, beach and in the restaurants was really chaotic and disorganized. Guests had to wait approx. 45 min. to 1.5 hours for their dishes to be served. Sadly, they often served wrong or incomplete dishes: one person gets their order while your partner has to wait another 20 minutes. Dishes were also often served without cutlery. Thats why most guests started to walk to the staff to pick up the missing cutlery by themselves. The bad service was a running joke between guests because mostly everybody was annoyed by it. Last but not least, the attitude of the staff when mistakes were done was unprofessional. Instead of offering solutions to the guests and apologizing for the inconveniences caused, the standard reply was just „unfortunately no [this is not my job/ I cant help …]“. Also we advice you to check the extras charged to your room before checkout. In our case, random expenses were charged in the amount of 420€ which could not be explained. We discussed the matter with the reception and they corrected it.

Will recommend and return for a relaxing sun and beach vacation

✓ Our stay was over all very good! We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast buffet, the location of het seaside restaurant, the menu of this place, the pool, the private beach and the very comfy furniture all over the hotel. You also notice immediately that the personnel is very helpful and friendly. The location feels very secluded too but I have to admit we didn’t really left the hotel. We will definitely recommend this place and come back.

✗ Obviously not everything was perfect: the service in the restaurant is rather slow, the half board dinner is of a completely different quality (very basic) than the rest of the food served and the bathroom in the room was tiny and not so comfortable for 2 people. This will however not stop us to come back and enjoy a very nice holiday.

love for a very quiet relaxing trip - not a place for friend’s holidays as everyone is in couples

✓ the property is beautiful and brand new - nice private beach and lots of places to chill

✗ although all the staff are lovely the service wasn’t great - very slow, strange rules around ordering food and timings, when you get the food it’s great but can take ages. the restaurants need proper managing as the bar service is excellent.
