Hotel Universidad

Ok for the price

✓ Nice clean hotel, a few local bars nearby. A 30 minute walk into town. Secure parking for motorcycles.

✗ Aircon not very good.

We had a good stay at the Hotel Universidad. It's a good option for work trips.

✓ Bed: the beds were comfortable as well as the pillows. Bathroom: clean towels that were good quality. The hairdryer facility was very useful. Staff: Very friendly and helpful. Location: good location.

✗ Room: the sheets had some stains on them, but they seemed clean. Bathroom: some hooks to hang up used/wet towels would have been useful. Utensils: A microwave would have been nice as well as bowls to eat breakfast from.

Where I needed to be at a reasonable price

✓ Location close to Air Base is where I wanted to be. Breakfast good

✗ Although the location is good, it is difficult to find a nice restaurant close by.

Disappointing

✗ Very rude breakfast staff. Room had odd smell. Very basic room with minimal lighting (dark). Parking available in very small and dark parking lot under hotel.

Comfortable stay.

✓ The size of the room. The breakfast.

✗ Some walls showed minor dirt spots which can easily be removed with detergent substance and water. Like wise the bed cover surrounding the bed box.

Exceptional

✓ Everything, location, room and bath clean, value (was not expensive) and pretty big! Recommended!
