Bryan's View

Excellent self-catering option with swimming pool, just across the road from Joe’s Beerhouse.

✓ My apartment at Bryan’s view had everything for my short stay. The room was great, the bed comfortable, the shower good. I liked the little communal terrace where you could sit and watch the birds at the feeder, and the swimming pool. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. If you’re looking for a self-catering option in Windhoek, I certainly recommend here. Joe’s Beerhouse is just across the road, and there’s a supermarket for supplies just round the corner from there.

✓ I had a wonderful two-day stay at Bryan's View. I especially liked the sunny porch where I could watch a variety of little birds feeding below.The tranquil atmosphere instantly put me at ease. One aspect that truly exceeded my expectations was the value for money. The reasonable rates for such a wonderful experience left me pleasantly surprised. I felt that I received excellent value considering the beautiful surroundings, comfortable accommodation, and the warm hospitality extended by the hosts. Speaking of hosts, they were absolutely amazing! From the moment I stepped through the door, they welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like part of their extended family. Their genuine friendliness and helpfulness added an extra layer of warmth to my stay. They were always ready with recommendations, suggestions, and a genuine interest in ensuring my visit was as enjoyable as possible.

✓ Super hosts who were helpful and nice, very spacious room, mosquito net, laundry and full kitchen facilities

✗ Only downside, the location is lovely but the road is private so the address that is in google maps (and other GPS maps) is incorrect, which makes getting there can be confusing for you or anyone picking you up without a map (which the hosts provide a map for you, of course, but something to consider). Tip: your your driver to take you across the street from Joe's Beerhouse

✓ I stayed at Bryan’s View on two separate occasions in a short space of time. The accommodation was ideal for my purpose of needing to quietly catch up with computer work. The location is set back away from the main road, yet is close to all amenities (particularly Joe’s Beerhouse). The hosts were friendly and helpful, and I would certainly stay again.

✗ My "welcoming" from Chris was "and who are you?" was travelling for 3 weeks through the country.... This was the only time it happened to me.... Kind of rude...
