Borgo Mulignone

A lovely place, very well equiped, nested in the Tuscan countryside.

✓ Great location, in the Tuscan hills. The room was plenty large the bathroom was excellent, with plenty of hot water. Very well-equipped kitchen, lovely view, mosquito nets on all windows, and entrance door. Ample parking and very kind and supportive hosts. Would book anytime again. We booked here because of the area and proximity to our friends' house. But I'd book it anyway as the region is lovely. Casole, Colle and San Gimignano are close as is Siena. Bear in mind you'd need transport here. A car, a motorbike or even a bicycle is essential. The closest cafe is 5 km away. But that's the beauty of it. We stayed in October, so there might be more places open in the summer.

✗ The wifi could be better indoors although the thick stone walls obviously don't help much. It worked well outdoors.

However there is some room for improvement, we had a very pleasant stay at Borgo Mulignone!

✓ The house was clean, well equipped and spacious enough for three people. The swimming pools were really nice and well maintained. Also the barbecue area is a great addition. Overall the location is good, especially when you are looking for a calm and relaxing stay.

✗ The drive way is in a horrible condition and difficult to drive, especially for lower cars. WIFI was incredibly slow and unreliable. Bed mattresses have had their best time as well. The lack of a coffee machine was really a bummer, waking up with an instant coffee is not what you expect when booking a holiday in Italy!
