Best hotel we've stayed at in Newquay.

✓ The rooms we had were beautiful. We had the best views of Newquay beaches and harbour. The hotel is very clean and well maintained and has beautiful furnishings and art work - lots of Art Nouveau paintings. The location is excellent - few minutes walk to Fistral Beach and the town centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.

✗ Only one problem - the lift was temporarily broken.

Overall, my stay was great. Nice location, stunning food in the evening and comfortable bed.

✓ Room - Got an upgrade and it was enormous. Dinner service - Had a 3 course meal and it tasted absolutely amazing. I wanted more. Spa - Sitting in the hot tub with floor to ceiling widows looking out to sea was great. Interior - The decor, lighting and overall ambiance was delightful and in keeping with the history of the building.

✗ Room - The room was great but the balcony overlooked the kitchen and a noisy fan. Breakfast - Coffee wasn't the best and no buffet option. Exterior - The building looks dated and battered in much need to a spruce up.

✓ I like the room ,it was spacious with a balcony,the food was amazing even though there was a limited choice. The spa facilities were good,even though it empty most of the time.

✗ The bed was 2 singles together,when u slept on it u always ended up in the middle. I feel like they didn't know how to talk to solo travelers.

All of the pool side rooms are situated directly next to the outside pool.
